Lost and Found

If you left something behind on a recent trip, please fill out the lost and found form to report what was lost, and we'll see if someone has turned it in.

If you find a lost item while on transit, please hand it directly to any uniformed transit employee or to Transit Police.

Please remember to tell us:

  • Any of the item’s distinct features (e.g., a description of a phone’s case, or a scratch on your wallet)

  • Your direction of travel

  • Any identifying information present with the item (e.g., a driver’s license in a lost wallet)

Do not disclose any sensitive information, such as credit or debit card numbers.

Report Lost Item

Lost Compass Cards

If you’ve lost a registered Compass Card, log into your account at compasscard.ca and select either "Lost or Stolen" or "Damage" options on the My Cards page to report the loss.

If you find a Compass Card, you can either hand it to a uniformed transit employee or send it to us by mail using the mailing address below.

To support physical distancing, Lost Property staff can only assist one customer in person at a time. To avoid unnecessary line ups or overcrowding, it is recommended to call prior to visiting to ensure your item is available to be picked up. For the safety of everyone, please observe the distancing measures in place when visiting the office.

A delay of 3 to 4 days is expected for items to be delivered to Lost Property. Please contact the office for important items such as critical medication, keys, wallets, passports and items of high monetary value, as they may be able to be prioritized.
